The Mexico’s Flag
The Mexico’s Flag is very interesting and it is the most wonderful in the world. Moreover it won a contest by internet as the most beautiful Flag in the world. It got almost ten millions of votes in that competition.
Mexico has modified its flag like thirteen times, but the present flag exists since 1968. The first Mexico’s Flag was used in the independence times, on September 16, 1810, and it was an image of Virgin of Guadalupe.
Its shape is a rectangle, which is splited in three rectangles more. The Mexican flag is tricolor because each rectangle has a color. Firs color is green and its meaning is hope. Second color is white and its meaning is purity. The last color is red and its meaning is honesty. I like my flag, but I love the image that appears in the centre together the white color. The image has a lake and on the lake is an eagle. The eagle is on its feet and it is killing a serpent. There is a fascinating story about this image. The Aztecs, an ancient Mexican people, built the Mexico City at the same place where they found this image. As theirs gods predicted and told them, they discovered the exact place.
In conclusion, I love the Mexico’s Flag because I am Mexican. It has many features out of ordinary, so it is very beautiful.
